Logo
The client wanted a logo for their vacation rental cabin in South Fork, Colorado. This was the initial design:
After sending the first draft, the client wanted to tie in the logo with their existing business. They run a fly shop right along the south fork of the Rio Grande river. As the cabin is close to the shop, their desire was to match the signage of the shop. They wanted to take the Colorado "C" out of the fly, and then eventually wanted to match the fly on the sign (a Royal Coachman - Ten stars to you if you already knew that! * One of many things I love about my job is that I learn many interesting tidbits I would never have been exposed to otherwise! I really do enjoy the research process when coming up with a new logo!*) I also decided to add another element so people could clearly connect this cabin was a fisherman's getaway.
We were getting closer, the client wanted to also match colors of the building as they would be hanging it off the building from a vinyl 3x6 banner.
